Things to do in a strange city when you are by
yourself:
Get lost on public transport, become really cold.
Find the centre of the city somehow with a cafe that has heaters.
After dethawing, smoke a lot and paint all the
weird people around you.
(I did about six quick studies of people in Canberra
over the extent of my visit. Unfortunately I spilled a whole cup of coffee
over my paper and destroyed four of them.)
Oops.
and here is: PAUL'S GUIDE TO WEEPING ON PUBLIC
TRANSPORT
Paul's guide to weeping on public transport:
-
-Get on public transport
-
-Realise that it is going in the wrong direction,
,indeed in the opposite direction to your home. This shoukd happen well
in into the journey.
-
-Lose all trrack of where you are (particularly
in relation to home/loved ones)
-
-Take stock of finances, also continued validity
of tcket/pass. When assured of insolvency and imminent ticket expiry,
go to next step.
-
-Commence breathing difficulties
-
-Become highly agitated.
-
-Frighten elderly and children in vicinity via
such agitation, to preculde possible aid in reaching sanctuary.
-
-Become frightened.
-
Despair.
-
-Commence weeping *
