A very difficult piece of life drawing that turned out well. The forshortening in this pose was a real challenge... particularly in one 3 hour pose, but I am really quite fast with bitumen, it is an extraordinary medium, even on such a scale.

To say the foreshortening in this piece is difficult is a little bit of an understatement. There are few in Perth who could paint something like this, this accurately, in such a short amount of time. If any.

Life drawing is ALWAYS worth doing.
