Kirsty (my sweet friend) posed for this piece - it is actually done from the same photo as "Supine"

I fell in love with the form of it and stayed that way.

I never liked it at all and considered it a failure until I turned it from horizontal to vertical and had another look. I didn't even show it till then. Always pays to do that, unless there is a definitive ground involved, that will just confuse people and I might get accused of doing contemporary art.

I gave it to Kirsty eventually for all the times she had posed for me... I probably should have given her something not including her BREASTS so that she could tell everyone it was HER. Without them going "Wow nice breasts Kirst', and so on. Still it made her happy
