Jane is a model, and also a friend. We saw each other for a while in 2002, and she was very good to me. I was having a difficult time with bipolar psychosis (see the bipolar Paul page) of a variety of sorts and she helped out by sorting out the competitions I needed to enter and generally looking after me.

She even paid for the entries - it is a lot easier by credit card apparently (noone has ever tried to give me one and I wouldn't trust them if they did. Oh GOOD IDEA! Give the manic depressive alcoholic artist a credit card!). I finally paid her back after about a year of owing her money.

This piece was done the last time I saw her - she sat for me in her apartment. It is amazing that she can keep so still as she jumps around a lot when she isn't posing.
