This won a small award.
Being with her and being loved by her - being able to paint her so many times - was a spell of warmth and exquisite passion. Kirsty's heart is one of the most beautiful I have known.
My sister liked her (and the piece) so much that she bought the painting, and they remain friends.

The bars are NOT from a cage. She is sitting on the bridge over the train lines, and the ancient bannisters form the bars. Though the placement is deliberate as interpretive possibility, that's for sure.
