Sometimes, I start from an image and leave it almost immediately to wander off in Paul Painting land. I initially had a photograph to work from for this piece but it looks very little like it.

The title is from one of my favourite Counting Crows songs. I have been known to steal titles for paintings from almost anywhere, but songs has been a recurrent theme recently.

I sold this piece immediately to a lovely couple who have bought several works from me.

It is a sister piece to "Scarlet's walk" and was done at the same time.
