I did this piece years ago ,when I first started studying art, and well and truly before I took it seriously.

I imbedded bits of beer bottle glass into the image. The one piece of raised writing visible on the whole painting is part of a stubby - the "not to be" from "not to be recycled."

I had dyed my hair black and it was very long. I had a long way to go before my skills could match my desire for expression, but I think there is something revealed in this piece.
