Hm well - this piece is old not new. I did it of a friend when I was still at university but I only just found the file of the pic of the work. She was quite seriously messed up but quite nice sometimes too. Her hair was far, far from natural - many colours in there though most of them were varieties of some shade of red. She would change what she wore completely if she got a different boyfriend. It was fascinating and sad to watch.

She was completely unaware of how attractive she was. My most clear memory of her is of her charging into a closed glass door with a carton of chocalate milk in her hand and it exploding all over her. She was very uncoordinated. I have always found that particularly appealing in a woman; I have no idea why, probably something about the vulnerability and humanity it shows.

I gave this to her at some stage, after I had framed it for her. I have GOT to stop doing that.
