The text on the bottom of the paper reads “sexy first year girl I will never meet drawing badly.”
Which pretty much sums up what was happening. Painted this in the third year of my degree, whereupon I found myself newly sober and totally at a loss as to HOW TO TALK TO GIRLS.
Catching buses – there was always the option of showing the object of your desire what it was you were presently painting or sketching…
“Here’s a picture of me looking lonely.
“And here’s me in the kitchen eating a bun.
“Oh this one is me in the bath with my ducky, you probably don’t want to see that.
“Here’s me looking lonely under a tree.
“This is me looking into the window of the pet shop wishing I could have a puppy.”

And so on.
I came up with a pick up line – best used when appearing suddenly from the back seat of a girl’s car where you have been hiding:
“If you drive me home I can get my pants!”
