Colchis is the island where Jason and the Argonauts found the Golden Fleece, which seemed appropriate and more original than Atlantis even though there are no visible sheep, fleecy or not.

This was a big commission for a client and unfortunately took me a long, long time. Though it is done NOW. It was so big that I had to paint it at HIS house.
